Museum of Chavchavadze

The residential palace of the Chavchavadzes family is combined with the Schumi winery. The gardens are charming.

The Georgian poet Alexander Chavchavadze was one of the initiators of the europeanization of Georgia. He built the first winery, which marked the start of the country's industrial winemaking.

To get there take a marshrutka from Telavi Old Bus Station (20 min, every 30 min 09:00-17:00, 0.80 GEL) or a taxi (5 GEL) to Tsinandali village.
