Opening hours

Bus № 37 leaves from the right corner of the arrival area every 15–30 minutes between 07:00–20:00, then every hour until 01:00, to the city center. It travels via Liberty Square and Rustaveli Avenue to the main train station. The trip can take over 50 minutes. The fare is 0.50 GEL. Coins (or a smartcard) are required to purchase a ticket. If you're heading to the airport the bus stop is 20m to the right from the exit of Liberty Square metro station (there is not № 37 at the board, but this bus still stops there).

Airport Railway Station is located in front of the passenger terminal, next to the car park. Trains from the airport to the main train station cost 0.50 GEL and take 30-35 minutes. You pay the conductor. As of May 2016 there are only two trains daily, from Tbilisi: at 07.55 and 17.20 (in the other direction at 08.40 and 18.05).

Taxi service is available around the clock outside the terminal, just at the curbside of the arrival hall. The journey time to the city centre is 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. Taxis between the airport and the city cost 25-30 GEL.
